Reviver was originally written as a short in conjunction with three feature length screenplays I had written
whilst in high school: Uniform Black, Uniform Red and Uniform White. I based the narrative on a short story I
had read in high school called 'The Green Dress' but have since been unable to track down the name of its
author or the book I read it in (please contact me if you know). The palindromic structure was inspired by the
repetitive nature of the original story and my interest in how the meaning of a sentence or action changes
through different context and intonation.
